McTeggart Irish Dancers Houston School Newsletter

This was an internal newsletter created for the families of the Houston McTeggart school.
The newsletter work involved collaborating with multiple people within the school to gather data and input, writing the articles, and arranging the images.

This is a sample of work from my service as Publicity Manager for the Society for Technical Communication (STC) 2001 Region 5 Conference.
I collaborated with a partner and a team of volunteers to:

Develop and manage the website for the conference

Design brochures
-
Write articles both for our chapter's internal newsletter and for the outside press.

All of this was created for an audience of fellow technical writers, so the attention to detail and flow of language were held to a particularly high standard.
The attached article I wrote for the society newsletter in the month leading up to the conference.

The Publicity Committee's work won an award at the society's annual competition.
